About the Position:

National Grid's B2B Energy Product Marketing Team is seeking a results oriented marketing professional to develop breakthrough campaigns to support the business meeting key objectives/KPIs of annual Energy Efficiency (EE) savings goals and to create engagement among our small business customers.

This role will develop, manage and implement strategic, high quality and effective marketing plans and campaigns to promote National Grid's EE programs and incentives to our small business customers across all jurisdictions (MA, RI, and upstate NY).

Close collaboration with sales and program execution teams will be an integral part of this role. The role also requires managing/guiding our advertising agency, partnering with lead EE vendors and collaborating with internal departments such as Data & Analytics, Customer Insights & Targeting, Legal, Brand and others.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

* Develop, manage, and implement the marketing for small business EE programs in all regions (MA, RI, and upstate NY) to drive customer engagement and participation. Research and modeling data are used to assist with channel selection, creative messaging, targeting, and optimization of campaign results.

* Monitor, and track the success of campaigns; measure effectiveness of campaigns towards established lead and participation goals; and report, discuss, and present progress including successes and challenges to key stakeholders.

* Develop comprehensive and strategic marketing briefs for full year campaigns.

* Ensure company brand alignment/guidelines met with campaign collateral and assets.

* Manage marketing budget of nearly $500,000, process and track invoices for small business EE programs.

* Ensure accuracy of the content related to small business EE programs on the National Grid website.

* Leverage owned channels such as website, social media, bill inserts to expand promotion of programs.

* Review marketing campaign materials for accuracy, customer focus and branding alignment.

* Create marketing materials and collateral for small business EE programs.

* Represent National Grid at meetings, fairs, and events, and provide outreach to engage the small business community.

* Keep up to date with marketing/regulatory/product developments in order to ensure the optimization of best practices for National Grid.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Journalism or Communications

* 5 years of related marketing experience, preferably in business to business (B2B) communications/marketing.

* Previous experience or background in environmental issues or energy efficiency a plus.

* Proficient in relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

* Knowledge of relevant industry practice and regulatory process. Knowledge of current trends within the industry and developments in legislation or regulation.

* Complete comfort managing through ambiguity or changing work environment

* Budgeting experience preferred
