As a Partner Sales Manager within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of Amazon's infrastructure web services (Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon SimpleDB, and Amazon SQS) across AWS's most strategic business partners and their customers.

You will drive sales execution with partners by teaming with salespeople in the assigned territory. This requires driving executive and field relationships with partners, customer and the AWS team. You will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption across all market segments through partner engagement. The ideal candidate will posses both a business background that enables them engage at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers and sales/field reps. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Basic Qualifications

* The right person will possess 7-10+ years of sales, business development and program management experience.

* Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives

* Experience presenting and articulating complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

Preferred Qualifications

* Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.

* Prior experience working with Systems Integrators and Consulting Companies to drive sales.

* Prior direct sales experience is preferred

* Experience working within the enterprise software development industry is highly desired.

* Experience working in the territory with partners and customers

* Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
